Looking to take your game to the next level or just starting out? This camp will provide players a great opportunity to learn and enhance their lacrosse skills in a fun, challenging, and safe environment. Players will be grouped by age and skill level while taking instruction from some of the best lacrosse coaches in Maine. Instructors: Maineiax Lacrosse Staff.

Improve your game by focusing on the fundamental skills of hitting, throwing, fielding, base running, team play and games. Players will be split up into age groups and ability levels. With Edge Academy's new partnership with the Portland Sea Dogs, one day of camp is scheduled to be held at Hadlock Field where members of the Seadogs will assist with instruction. The focus of this camp will be on individual skill development, the importance of team play, and having fun. Campers will be divided into smaller groups based on age and ability and will participate in offensive and defensive skill stations daily. Campers will also get a chance to put those skills to work in 3-on-3 and full-court games during the week. Instructors: Boys Varsity Coach Phil Conley and varsity players.

Learn the game of soccer while having fun! Players will be appropriately challenged with specifically designed developmental games and activities. Focus is placed on developing the necessary skills to be a competitive player in the future.

Join the Scarborough Track and Field Club at this popular summer program. Girls and boys will participate in practices on Mondays and Tuesdays. On Thursdays participants will have the opportunity to test their skills at local meets held throughout Southern Maine. Instructor: Chris Rowley.

Meet schedules will be available during the first practice. Bus transportation will be provided to and from off-campus meets. T-shirts may be purchased directly from the instructor for $10 each.

This camp will provide incoming K-9 grade students a great opportunity to either learn or enhance their skills in a fun, challenging, and safe manner. Coaches will give individualized attention to all and ensure each player is challenged according to their skill level. Once skills are taught, there will be exciting challenges that really bring the game to life. Necessary equipment not provided include shin guards, mouth guard, and goggles. This very popular program is offered by Kane Kountry Farm, a successful show barn that has been operating in Scarborough for over 40 years. Lessons cover the basics of horsemanship, including care, grooming, groundwork, stall cleaning, and conformation riding techniques. Instructor: Diane Kane

Classes run rain or shine. Participants must be eight years or older. Children should come prepared with long pants and boots. Classes are limited to eight participants so register soon! All participants must complete a release form on the first day of camp.

TinyTykes is an innovative 45-minute per day program, created by childcare specialists that introduces children aged 3-5 years to the basic skills of soccer. The modules use fundamental soccer activities, games and stories to develop their skills.

Tell your kids to grab their tennis racket and join Coach McDonald for weekly tennis lessons, where they will learn new skills, strokes, and movements through fun, fast-paced games and crazy competitions. These classes fill up quickly so register early! Instructor: Craig McDonald

Students must bring their own tennis racquet and water bottle to each class. During downpour conditions, lessons will be moved to the Middle School Gym. As long as courts are playable, lessons will remain at the outdoor courts. Please check emails and/or voicemail for weather notifications.
